Here’s something you don’t see a lot of these days –
Kids riding in the back of a station wagon in rear facing seats! These two were with their grandparents on a Wal-Mart trip and after stopping to chat about the unique seating configuration learned some history. This Vista Cruiser was bought new and they are the original owners! It has been an outside car its whole life, so there are some dash cracks and rotted weatherstripping. But nonetheless, the old Olds fires up any time and is always ready for a road trip. The kids were excited to ride in grandma and grandpa’s car but wished the A/C still worked. Mom and dad must be thrilled!
BTW, the white S10’s wheels and tires in the background – period correct early 90’s wheels & tires!
