A Pathfinder that’s not a Nissan

Many companies have modified domestic vans to four-wheel drive over the years, but this is a pretty early version and the bodywork makes it ever more interesting.

Yes, it’s a chop-top, full-size van!  These guys thought of this long before Top Gear did it to their Espace.  We’re not sure exactly what the use case is for this, unless you want to open a safari.

Interior makes for an interesting layout.  Bring all your friends!

It was nice of the company to add shifter instructions for the transfer case.

Yep, that’s a big ‘ol transfer case.

1977 Ford Van 4×4 by Pathfinder. This is a one of a kind 4×4 party bus that goes anywhere. its an E250 powered by a 460ci and C6 transmission. The transfer case is a NP203 which are really rare and bullet proof. I believe the rear end is a Dana 44. I don’t know the exact gearing but is extremely low. This van was built to climb a tree and it does. The Van runs well, new carb, no leaks to speak of as I fixed them all over the last few years. It has a stereo w/amp 4 speakers and Ipod hook up, also not pictured but has a new green canvas snap on top. Van is garaged! Open to trades, looking for a clean Jeep XJ to tow behind my motorhome.
