What’s almost as fun as a Fiesta?

How about a Festiva?  This Kia-built beauty has potential, but we worry that bidding might exceed the 24 Hours of Lemons limit of $500.  These have Mazda engines and a bit of an autocross following.

The ad text is more than a little entertaining, including such quotes as:

“HAS NEW BATTER”

“IT SEAMS LIKE IT FLOATS NOT SURE, I MIGHT JUST BE USE TO A BIGGER VAN.”

“YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 24 YEAR OLD CAR.  IT IS NOT PERECT.”

“THIS CAR IS NOT A FIESTA”

True, but it is a party.

$300 with three bids and reserve not met
05/14/2013 update: Ended at $400 with 4 bids and reserve not met.

Black steelies with lost hubcaps are all business.

Bare bones interior means there’s less to go break.  Manual trans is a must.

This shot is the main reason this car is here – we love shots including extra parts (such as this alternator) inside vehicles.  That ‘spate’ might be for a different car?
