The Epitome of Subtlety and Class

Greenwood is a tuner that built some badass racing and street Vettes back in the day.  This is not one of those.  This is a mechanically stock, automatic-equipped 1987 Corvette convertible with a Greenwood – or Greenwood-like – body kit and an interior wood kit for good measure.  It’s in its natural habitat of New Jersey and it would be a shame to see it leave.

Whomever handled the body modifications on this car missed no opportunity to add a vent or scoop.  I’m guessing the kit is several years younger than the car, as the taillight treatment is an attempt to modernize to a ’90 ZR-1 or post-’90 Vette look.  The seller claims low miles, so there’s that.

Yes, it’s even worse from behind.

And, yes, the color scheme carries over to the seats.

Damn.

Period Polk Audio bits are pretty cool, but I’m not sure there was a lot of thought put into this.  Do two identical tweeters, side-by-side, make any sense?

Things look pretty stock here.  All (very bad) show, and stock go!  Not that this ever lacked torque…
