Rare, Pre-Maxima Wagon

Before there was the Maxima, there was the 810.  This wagon shares an inline six with the 280ZX, which should mean good, smooth fun.

810s don’t come along often, and the wagons are very rarely seen.  Yeah, it lacks a clutch pedal, but this would be a cruiser anyway.  The seller claims 66K miles and parental ownership, though it sounds like there may be (minor?) fuel system issue right now.  We’d like to see more images to get a better feel for this one, but it’s cheap and sounds like it’s worth preserving.

My mother’s 1979 Datsun wagon has only 66k miles. This is the one with the same engine block as the Z cars, a fuel injected in-line six and an automatic transmission. It hasn’t been driven in some time and I’ve had trouble starting it. If I pour a little gas in the intake and charge the battery it starts then runs till the gas is gone. So, maybe it’s a gas filter or a clogged line? I don’t know, but you’ll have to tow or trailer it. Mom used to take good care of it, has tires with almost new tread, regular oil changes. I am sure that with a little effort it will run for a very long time. Firm on the price. Questions? Email me, I’ll do my best to answer. Picture looks really dusty, also I don’t have any additional photos.
