One of several V8 Foci?

Or is this a singular Focus?  It seems there are several, given the dedicated V8 Focus page at Kugel Komponents.  A Mustang isn’t original enough for you, but you still want a solid rear axle?  Why not spend multiple used Mustangs worth of cash on a V8 Focus and then try to ask too much when selling on eBay?

We think the >$12K price is a bit silly for what this is, but, then again, there’s no way one could build it for that.  So, if this is your thing (who are you?), then go for it.  Okay, okay, we mock it a bit, but we love the sleeper factor and applaud the enthusiasm.  Whatever you think, this is clearly an oddity!

$12,000 with one bid and reserve NOT met
Update:  Ended with no more bids.

From this angle, all looks pretty normal.  From a distance, onlookers will wonder if they just put on SVT wheels or if SVT Foci came in green.

Hmmm…dual exhausts on a focus?  This might give something away.

The cat’s out of the bag, what with the big pumpkin under the rear.

Something looks different here…

Somewhat wacky 1st generation interior is spiced up with too many gauges.

Practical hatchback loses a bit to the fuel cell.

Yep, that thar is a 5.0…er…4.9.
