Japanese Fire Truck in the US

This is a Mitsubishi Micro Cab fire truck which found its way to the US.  These are imported for farm and industrial use, but are not road legal in the States. Notably, the Micro Cab is a competitor for the VERY oddly names Mazda Scrum!

The seller says the driver’s side (right side in this case) door was damaged, but that the truck is 100% functional.  Claimed mileage is 49K, so we wonder where it went- perhaps it racked up some miles in Japan.  The seller also claims that the three-cylinder engine can propel this thing to 75 MPH.  That may be true, but we can only imagine it wouldn’t be a confidence-inspiring experience.

Anywho, if you find a use for it, this will be a cool little oddity and a way to practice manual shifting with your left hand.

Drivers door frame was damaged in shipping, so does not seal tight, but is 100% operable. Dent in front and right rear on pump frame. Paint is faded. Runs great with fabulous gas mileage. Steering on right. Will run about 75mph, but is not allowed on Interstate highway system because of size. I will NOT ship. Buyer must pick up.

VIN is unusual as this came from Japan. It is titled as an MPV.  State assigned VIN is U62T0202823
