Is this better or worse than an original Dodge 600 convertible?

We thought only MN12 T-Birds got this type of treatment.  Clearly, we were wrong.

This one’s almost too easy to pick apart, starting with the INSANE price, but we are particularly amused by the complete lack of information on the build.  Did the seller have it done/do it himself?  Second owner?  Fifth owner?  Who made the parts?

Also entertaining is the fact that this is powered by a 2.2L 4cyl with automatic.  So, basically, 50s Corvette looks with 50s Nash Metropolitan performance.  At least the owner knows enough to so proudly proclaim it’s a K-car.

As usual, the interior looks completely stock.  The Dodge 600 was perfection – what kind of idiot would change it?

Here is something you will NEVER see again as this was as far as I know the only one ever done. This car started out in life as a 1985 Dodge 600 Convertible MOPAR which is the same body and drivetrain as the Chrysler LeBaron. Same body as the K Car of 1981 1982 1983 1984 1986 Aries Reliant etc.
2.2 4 cylinder engine gets 30 mpg on the highway. Front wheel drive, 3 speed automatic transmission. New brakes, radiator, front struts & shocks, new radial wide whitewall tires, new air conditioning components (AC blows cold) new starter, power steering pump and all kinds of new hoses and too many parts to mention here. New tranny cable and parking brake cable. NEW WINDSHIELD. Coker radial gangster whites are new.

Doors open electronically hood and trunk open with screws.

BRAND NEW convertible top, seat upholstory and carpeting. Door panels were also redone in a red metallic vinyl. Dash pad does not have one crack on it, all gauges and lights work great.

New CD changer AM/FM Stereo. New speakers all the way around. Power top works great. All windows work and rear windows have had new channeling put in.

Car resembles a 1956 1957 1958 1959 1960 era Corvette but to me looks a little like those old show cars from the 50s and 60s. Metal chrome front and rear bumpers not the cheap plastic crap they use now. Car has a smooth ride for a 4 cyl car, won’t win any drag races as it is not the turbo but who wants to race this beauty. I could charge money just to let people look at it. Rear end also resembles a 1950s or early 1960s Ferrari. Someone even told me a Thunderbird, I get all responses!

Odometer shows 57,000 not sure how accurate that is but it does not smoke or burn oil.
