Good idea or waste of a Z?

These seemed relatively popular back in the day. When your humble host worked at a grocery store in the late 80s, there was a customer who had one.  The trunk was small, but held three or four paper grocery bags.  These actually make pretty good looking convertibles.  We’re not so sure about structural integrity…

$1,000 with 1 bid and reserve not met.  $4,000 BIN price.
Trunk panel fit leaves a bit to be desired.
We always approve of shots with other cars in the background.  Obviously, the seller has a thing for convertible Zs, but we’re not sure what’s under the cover.

It’s excellent to see a manual in one of these!  These hideous steering wheel covers  must be destroyed. They’re taking over.

Am selling a beautiful 1988 Nissan 300zx Convertible. This is a rare beauty and rare find for anyone that is interested in a very low production car. Only 231 of these cars were ever made by a company call R. Straman for the US market from the japannese version.  The car is in great condition, runs and turns on smoothly. It has no major problems that need to be addressed. can be driven cross country without worries or malfunctions. Unfortunately the soft top got slashed when they attempted to still my laptop. the gash is approximately 5in long but nothing that cannot be fixed with minimal $$. This is a collector car. It is a 5 speed manual. Its a powerful car that runs and feels amazing. If you have any questions regarding this vehicle, feel free to ask me any questions or other information. That particular generation of Z-car did not represent well. My first company lease car at Nissan was a t-top Z. Japanese F-car.

It's a Straman at least–they were reknown for near-OEM quality conversions.

Good point – it's a bit surprising the trunk is off so much.

Definitely. Perhaps it got messed up when "they" attempted to "still" his laptop.
