Chrylser never offered a factory Dodge Charger convertible, but some were apparently converted by Coach Conversions in Van Nuys, CA. The seller of this beast claims only three red ones were done – were there 4,000 in other colors? We doubt it…
We found this on our local Craigslist, but quick research while writing this post reveled that it’s been for sale for some time and was featured on Jalopnik in 2010! They even used the same ‘can opener’ phrase, though we find it hard NOT to think of that when looking at this car.

Okay, the lines aren’t terrible, but we’re not amazed, either.
We’re pleased that the “Charger 2.2” decal remains intact.
The car does have a top. Would you drive this through an automated car wash?
Interior is just as bad as any early 80s Dodge, but has been hacked for big door speakers and, oddly, a red head unit (?). Best news here is the clutch pedal. The fun to drive factor is questionable, however, as this car cannot possibly have a lot of rigidity.
