Here we have something beyond a ‘mild custom’. Someone decided a Ranchero Squire needed to be fully tubbed and modified to accept a Boss 429 engine. While they were at it, they added nitrous.
A quick check of the interwebs shows this car has been for sale off and on for quite some time. See ad text below for details, but the topline summary is that this thing has a claimed 920 horsepower out of 640 cubic inches (yes, that’s about 10.5 liters). Yes, I think it’s cool!

The asking price is $165K. Actually, the ads say 165 to 175K, but what’s the point of a range in an ad? Who is going to offer anything OVER the minimum ask? It’s hard to put a value on this type of hot rod – the seller’s best hope is that the other creature in the known universe who happens to want a car just like this happens to be in the market with money to burn. Otherwise, getting his or money out of it is simply not going to happen.
