1975 Oldsmobile Omega Hatchback with Camper Accessory

We knew about the Omega and Nova hatchbacks, which don’t really look like hatchbacks; but we’ve never heard of the tent accessory. Given the space available with the seats folded down, this made sense at the time and it’s just plain cool now.Aside from the tent, this is the forgotten sister to the Nova and features the 260 CID V8, which is likely not at all exciting, but likely sounds okay. Overall condition looks great and the seller is honest about some initial signs of rust. Hopefully, it can be dealt with fairly easily, as we’d love to see this survivor live on. Note that it was repainted from green to blue at some point, but no one would ever know.

The tent!!

Oh yes, it features the Omega logo.

Medium blue and dog dish hubcaps fit this car perfectly.

Yes, it really is a hatchback, and…

…yes, there’s a lot of room back there. Who knows what (or who) went down in this car back in the 70s.

Interior is exactly what one would expect and we think it’s perfect.

Here’s that little 260, tidily presented.
