1966 Dodge A100 Custom Love Palace Van

This post is really all about the pictures. We see a lot of custom vans with fairly frightening interiors, but this really takes the cake. Are you brave enough to go inside with a black light?

We won’t stop you here for long – go ahead and look at the pics. If you must know, this van has a 318 V8 – pretty standard fare – which hasn’t run in ten years. Parts availability and swap options are easy and plentiful here, so we wouldn’t worry too much about it. We just fear the owner will turn this into a desirably hot rod van and remove all of the lovely faux fur, tufted vinyl and mirrors. That would be a shame, but we’d like to think at least one more person can get laid in this thing first.

Yep, a brown van with slotted mags and murals (albeit temporary ones).

Here’s another peeling mural. Consider it an almost-blank canvas.

The rear of the van also has some sort of appendage.

With custom vans from this era, we also look forward to a peek inside. We’re not disappointed. Anyone can do shag; so why not ratchet things up a few notches with faux fur?

Fur up front is unusual, but how about a full love palace with tufted vinyl, mirrors, more fur and a (supposedly functional) fountain?

In case you were afraid there was no shag – the headliner has plenty.

Also, the padded effect carries over to at least one door. We’d be disappointed if this was not the case.

INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEAS BUYERS WELCOME! PLEASE CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS AT (76O) xxx-xxxx. I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO A BUY IT NOW FOR SERIOUS BUYERS. “Alright, alright, alright!” — Wooderson. It’s time for you to be Dazed and Confused in this killer old Custom! It is a 1966 Dodge A100 Shorty Panel Van that is, without a doubt, one of a kind. The Vannin craze is as hot as anything right now and this is certainly a cool one. The body is very solid. A tiny bit of rust on the passenger fender lip but definitely nothing major. It is a straight and solid old Van. The floors are nice. The murals on the sides and rear are sort of half wraps that were put on for a movie and a few music videos that it was used in. They can be left as is or easily cut off if you don’t want them. This would be perfect for movie and TV rentals in Hollywood. It is powered by a 318 c.i. V-8 with an automatic transmission. It starts and runs but has been in storage for over 10 years so it will need going over before driving it. The interior is obviously all stock. But only if stock meant a rolling love palace equipped with a full size bed and mirrors everywhere. Also, as every vehicle must have, a functioning fountain inside. I have never tried the fountain but the previous owner swears that it will work. Unlike your new Honda, this little gem DOES have fur covered dash and door panels. We call it the Dumb and Dumber look which is very in right now. Shifter on the dash. Vintage slotted mags. This is NOT a restored van so please be realistic with your expectations. Clean, clear CA title in hand. I already have a 1967 Ford that is done. I do not have time to build another one. Build a killer Hot Rod out of this one! This will sell this first time advertised! This is a great deal for a cool vintage Van. Inspections are encouraged. I am located in Solana Beach, California in North County Coastal San Diego.

p.s. so long as one survives submersion in the faux fur.
