This Car in this Condition is Hard to Swallow?

This is a rare beast!  Most people think of the Jaguar SS 100 as the only pre-war Jag, but there were others.  This 1939 1.5L Drop Head Coupe was a somewhat more practical Jag, even with a back seat.  the 1.5 liter four cylinder was acquired from Standard, unlike the in-house Jaguar six cylinder in the SS.

The seller includes quite a few pictures and is 100% open about the fact that this is a non-running restoration candidate.  It needs everything, but it does appear to be complete.

I’m not sure JC Whitney carries this top…er, hood.

RHD is to be expected in a Jaguar is this age.  Center gauges are typical of the era, as well.  Presumably, the transmission was once covered.

This boot won’t hold many boots.

Here’s the tiny four cylinder, shoved forward to allow a little legroom.

Here’s the all-important Jaguar-Daimler Heritage Trust certificate.
