Irvine Cars and Coffee sightings: August 3, 2013

Your humble host missed Cars and Coffee for several weeks, but was back in action today.  The marine layer kept it cloudy, but the turnout was great, nonetheless.  As usual, we just feature of few of the stranger vehicles. The possible star of the show (from our unique perspective) was the Jowett Jupiter in Stars…

    Custom something-or-other

We featured this car in our coverage of June 8th Irvine Cars and Coffee.  It’s not at all surprising to see something parked prominently at that event for sale within weeks.  What’s funny here is that we’re still not sure what it is. Nice to see an E34 M5 with the weird original wheel covers.  They look more like whitewalls from other angles. Avantis are always welcome here.…

Irvine Cars and Coffee sightings (April 6, 2013)

There was some pretty good stuff this week – click for images. How often do you see a Mazda 616? This is an Austin America interior…excellent plaid covers (presumably not original). Vehicross!  Does it get more odd? A coupe older RWD Toyotas (Corolla and Cressida). Note sure what’s up with the air dam on the…

Irvine Cars and Coffee sightings (3/23/2013)

Squareback – was owner’s first car and he managed to keep it. So rare to see one stock and in good shape. Nice guy, too. Amazon wagon! Jag XJ6 with 502 V8 in it Nice brownness… A legendary race car, but also a Lancia and thus odd.
