This could be a deal at $500 if you’re willing to figure out why it won’t rev. If this is a K-Jet car, it might be easy to target. Also, I love a couple things about this ad. First, the picture below is the only one and it’s a phone screen shot. Why would anyone do that. Second, the rear seats were removed because a cat sprayed them. Awesome.
If this has K-Jet, I’ll bet the piston in the fuel distributor is stuck – very common problem and basically means no more fuel is metered in when the throttle is opened, which means the car can idle, but won’t rev. Sometimes the piston can be freed, but a replacement could be needed – it would be hard to know. If it’s not K-Jet, it’s some similar problem with an air flow meter or a fuel pressure problem…probably not a huge deal. Sadly, it’s not clear whether this car has a manual or auto trans, so it’s hard to know if it’s worth fixing for fun vs. flipping.

volvo 240 it was running well till yesterday, it still starts but when u press the gas it stalls but it does start an idle. it has no back seats a cat sprayed them so i took them out,has new used tires,breaks are good tranny is good i think a good tune up will have it running again good.I put a new parts in the car an belts an dont wanna put anymore money into the car.tags are good till 12/1/14 an i have the smog paper so you dont gotta smog it again. text me
