Plymouth what?

Soon, the first generation of drivers who could never buy a new Plymouth will hit the streets.  Today, we have a Plymouth few have ever heard of.

The Cranbrook was a higher trim level of the full-sized Plymouth for a few years while Plymouth shuffled its naming scheme around (yes, that has happened for decades).  It’s basically a decent four-door sedan with classic 50s styling – not too much else we can say here.  The body doesn’t look horrible on this one, but I wonder how easy it will be to find the missing windshield, not to mention any Cranbrook-specific interior bits.  If you just want a rat rod or mild hot rod and don’t want to see yourself coming and going, this could be a cool project.  Either is probably easier than counting on restoring this, but a Plymouth expert may beg to differ.

Here we have a classic, domestic I6.  Hopefully, parts are readily available, as we imagine this was used in a great many vehicles.
