Merry Christmas! Beetle + Hummer? Why not?

This one’s new to us – the Humbug, which combines a VW Beetle with faux Hummer bits.  Can you ever go wrong with a seller quote like the following?

“Very few made it out in the public before the law suits were filed.”

This one is obviously incomplete.  It has a transaxle, but no engine and very little in the way of interior parts.  That just means you get to finish it the way you want it.

Mmm hmm.

Interior is only limited by your imagination!  The seller’s images appear to indicate that seats are included, but need recovering.

Oops, no engine here.  BYOClutch?

Apparently, this is a complete Humbug.

What I have here is the Original Humbug Vw off-road kit car. This is the body that was infringing on the GM Hummer body. Very few made it out in the public before the law suits were filed. This is a heavy duty fiberglass body on a 1970 Vw bug belly pan in which I have the title and vin tag for. There is no engine, however the transmission with Independent rear suspension is in tact. The front has disc brakes, and each side has different pair of wheels. This is a Project that has been started and then put away, then started and put away again. I have some addional parts for the Humbug as seen in the pictures. The doors and rear sections have never been installed. At one point the thoughts of putting the body on a jeep chassis had been in mind.

Own a piece of Vw history with this limited number Humbug !!!!!!! Sold “As-Is” where is !

I have also included some pictures of finished cars that are not for sale but to give you a idea of the car.
