Kei Car Sweetness: Nissan Figaro

These are pretty much legendary, so we don’t have to say too much.  The biggest question is whether a CA title is possible.  Methinks it’s not, as this is a 1991 vehicle.  Presumably, that’s why the seller has it in CA under FL title.

Not only do we love the car, we love the low-res images.  Is $18K reasonable for something with interior needs and serious parts availability issues?

The retro styling on these is tough to beat.  The only one I’ve seen was at the Lane Motor Museum, where it fits right in.

Retro theme carries over into the interior.

That’s a 1-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder putting out about 75HP.

Nissan Figaro. All original, rust free, accident free. Clear Florida title.

$18,000 or trade

This is one of only about 3 in the country.

So this is a Nissan Figaro, only 20,000 originally made in Japan for Japan. But are now in the UK as well. Use wikipedia.

This car literately STOPS traffic, people have taken picture of themselves in and in front of this car!!!! No one has yet to guess what it is, the first comment is that it is a beautiful car, second question is what the !@#* is it.

So more about the car:
Everything is metric, speedo etc, so the car has only about 45,000 original miles (74,000km) on it. Right hand drive.
The car is rated at about 57mpg on the highway and 32 mpg city, powered by a 4cyl turbo. And I can confirm it is awesome on gas and small enough to park just about anywhere.

Here’s the options, which the car is still all original today:
Convertible with glass back window
3 spd automatic
AC
power windows with one touch drivers window
am/fm cd cassette player
PS
PB
rear defrost
Power antenna
tach
clock
Still has original spare and jack

I’ve sat four people comfortably in this car (great for wine tasting), Drives great and has pep.

The bad: interior leather seats are cracked, Dash has six quarter inch long cracks as well. Drivers seat belt needs help to retract all the way. Spent years in Texas and Florida.

$18,000 best offer or trade.
