Just another vintage, utility-oriented Volvo

The other day, we featured a Volvo Amazon/122 wagon on a Toyota truck frame.  Today, we have a PV445 pickup.

Volvo didn’t make a pickup body, but did sell these as a bare chassis, so Swedish coachbuilders made trucks and various other iterations.  We have no idea how custom this might be, though the seller claims it is an ‘actual’ pickup and one of only 100.

This looks basically complete and the seller claims to have more trim items that come with it.  The B20 engine is also good news.  Basically, this ‘truck’ is ready for your own vision and some sweat equity, though we don’t see much (any?) potential for equity at the asking price.

Up for grabs is a running and driving Volvo pickup, not painted, but with a straight body, and very little needing to finish her. Extenuating circumstances forces me to get rid of her, although it is going to kill me later. Less than 100 actual pickups made, this one rolled out of the factory December 16th 1959. VIN and Chassis number were verified by Volvo. Has a B20 with the M40 trans, new radiator and tires, front brakes and braided IPD brake lines. seats and dash all original, have all the trim pieces, AND the swallows that go on the hood. Please let me know.
