Irvine Cars and Coffee sightings: August 24, 2013

I attended Irvine Cars and Coffee today with Oddimotive HQ.  Fog was rolling in off and on, which was a cool effect.

I love MGB GTs, but had a hard time figuring out the direction of this project. Land speed records?

This Bristol was a highly unusual sighting.

Got badge?

Just any old M Coupe isn’t weird enough for your?  Try this color on for size…

I got excited when spotting this from the front and wondered if it might be a 6.3.  Oddly, it’s a RHD 3.5L and appears to have an aftermarket air suspension, or at least it has an aftermarket controller.

And now for today’s crown jewel.  This 240Z looks a bit odd from the front, huh?  Do the scoops jump out as strange?  How about the rear track width?

Yep, it has a rear-mounted V6 with a decent-sized turbo.

VG?  VQ?  We’re not sure, but Calsonic parts in the EFI harness indicate it is certainly Japanese and likely a Nissan.  Maybe other experts here can tell what it is…

Second-Gen G35/37 wheels are an interesting touch.
