Gasser-Style 1975 Datsun Pickup

Why not build a Datsun truck into a 60s-style drag strip terror?

Oddly, this truck uses a 283 Chevy, but with two 4-barrel carbs and a tunnel ram to ensure plenty of air and fuel are delivered.  While it’s an odd choice for a gasser build, it does have the correct fender well headers.  Oddly missing here are time slips – surely, someone’s taken this to a track…

This redneck ride is located in West Virginia, which probably isn’t altogether too surprising.

There’s not much left stock here.

Surely, the wing creates downforce, perhaps to offset the front visor/wing’s upforce, thus making for good wheelies?

Rear view is all custom.  One must as why.

Interior hasn’t been completely gutted, but massive tach fits the dragster image.

Here’s the 283.  This should move this little truck with authority.
