Classic Mini Imitating a Modern Mini?

Here we have the classic Mini equivalent to a modern Cooper S.  This one has a slightly up-sized engine fed by a turbocharger.  Exterior mods are few in number, but the MASSIVE rally lights hint at upgrades.  Still, most wouldn’t expect the Mini at the stoplight next to them to be turbocharged.

The seller claims this runs and drives well and has no rust issues.  It seems like this car has good upgrades, overall, even if there’s no mention of suspension or brake upgrades to go with the added power.  There’s no reserve here, so the market will speak!

$515.55 with three bids and no reserve

Massive rally lights are attention grabbers, even when covered with pie plates.

Only the exhaust ‘trumpet’ gives anything away in this view.

Yellow over blue?  Why not?  Interior looks nice overall with tasteful-enough aftermarket touches.

Apparently, there’s a turbo tucked back there, fed by the large dryer vent hose.

Due to needing home improvements, I am reluctantly selling my classic mini turbo at NO RESERVE, the highest bidder wins. These Clubmans are very unique and getting rarer every year. You won’t see another one of these in your town unless you already own one. Powering this little beast is a 1275 A+ Metro Engine with a Garret t3 Turbo producing just under 110hp. This thing screams! When this was fitted by the previous owner, he also changed the head gasket, uprated the actuator, installed an aftermarket air filter, a dump value and changed the needle and spring in the carb. It is also fitted with a straight cut gearbox with drop down gears. It’s a quite set which doesn’t give off that big clatter like normal ones do. Other goodies include;

Turbo boost and oil gauge

Revotech boost hoses

OMP steering wheel

Genuine mini bucket racing seats

13” BWA Racing Rims

4 giant rally lamps that really put off some light

Genuine COOPER shift knob

Kenwood amp with pannasonic cd player and speakers

Everything works as it should. Has good oil and boost pressure. Oil, spark plugs and coils were just changed. Also a new throttle cable. Usual rust spots have been taken care of. Car was kept in a garage by the previous owners and is currently kept in my garage. Has a clear NH state title with all numbers matching.

I can help with shipping the vehicle also. Whoever buys this will really appreciate the beauty in this car and won’t be disappointed. Any questions please let me know. Thank you and good luck!
