British Coach Works TD – Interesting “Special” Edition

British Coach Works was one of a few companies making replica early MGs in the early 80s, these basedon Chevettes.  That’s already pretty odd by today’s standards, but this one adds flair with an unlikely Schwepps Special Edition.  Supposedly, this was part of a sweepstakes (?!).

09/29/2013 update:  Ended at $7,100 with reserve not met.

This is a reasonable replica vs. some of the others out there.

Mmm-hmm…

Interior is pretty cool. What’s that plaque?

Yep, it’s another Schwepps Special Edition badge.

This Vehicle has a valid and transferable title registered in the state of South Carolina. Vin number on title matches Vin tag on vehicle. I am the second owner, the vin number is the same as the original owners which is 1B9AT12LXF1074238.

The vin number on e-bay is the one for the original 85 chevette which matches the engine VIN on the vehicle. I have manufacturers books showing both VIN numbers.

The vehicle has not been in any accidents or scrapped.
