An Austin Pickup with No Relationship to Texas

Austin made the A40 in many bodies and I confess I have never seen one of these pickups.  As pointed out by the seller, the fender skirts are particularly cool.

The bad news here is yet to be determined, as the seller provides very little info.  This doesn’t look like it runs, however; so set your expectations low, like the price.  The good news is Perris, CA is in the desert, so, if this has been there a while it may be true that it has no rust.

Perris, CA (slightly less glamorous than Paris, France)
$2,900

Front end could be mistaken for one of the other body styles…

Well, there appearsto be an engine under there.

Extremely rare, unusual little pickup, English-made, but this one is an Export model with left-hand steering. NO rust issues, these were built from the factory with an aluminum bed, tailgate, fenders, etc. Has some great factory art deco fender skirts ! Original, stored for many years, 4-cylinder, 3-speed on column, ready to restore or ? These are starting to be used in place of Willys street rod/gassers. California title in my name, non-op, no fees due.
