1973 Dodge Colt – anything unusual here?

Here we have a MitsuDodge Colt, one of the first of many 70s imports to be sold in the US under a domestic name.

The owner swapped in a Mazda 12A rotary, which is certainly interesting.  Some other decisions made in the fix-up process are rather interesting.  The Transformers decal is obvious in the photos, but be sure to watch the seller’s video.  Clearly, he is of the ‘more speakers are better’ school of though, as there are four 6x9s across the rear deck and Alpine plate speakers (always loved plates) under the dash with no enclosure of any type.

$4,500

Apparently, the owner figured a Transformers decal would add value.

She’s a beauty from any angle.

Rotary MitsuDodge?  Why not?
